Jeff Buttigieg

Jeff Buttigieg is the co-founder and current CEO at RE/MAX Malta. At a young age, he started his first professional career working at an Advertising company in Malta as a Senior Marketing Executive. During the year 1999, Jeff together with his brother, Kevin set-up their own real estate business, called JK Properties. Four years later both brothers, together with their father brought the International real estate franchise brand, RE/MAX, to Malta.

Over the years he held various positions within the company including that of a Sales associate, Lettings Director, Marketing director as well as director of Technology. His important milestones over the years were building the JK Properties brand to becoming the leading Lettings agency in Malta, with the name “The Letting specialists”, and ultimately launching the successful real estate brand in Malta, RE/MAX for both the Sales and Lettings industries. The company evolved throughout the years, from assisting in creating a one office operation to a multi-office operation around Malta and Gozo.

Jeff was a former COO within the company and is now appointed as a CEO at RE/MAX since December 2020. He believes that a team of trained and adaptable people lies at the core of any successful business and is now implementing new ways of operating his business with a strategic vision. For 2021, he is shifting his focus towards consolidation while investing in the beating heart of RE/MAX Malta: its people.
